Welcome to Tug & Trust 's premier Board and Train program, where your beloved furry friend embarks on an enriching journey towards obedience, socialization, and overall behavioral refinement. Our comprehensive program is designed to provide your companion with a structured and immersive learning experience while you enjoy peace of mind knowing they're in expert hands.
During your dog's training journey, they will be boarded inside their trainer's home - integrated as part of the family, just as they are when they are home with you. Staying in a home and being integrated into the family ensures that your dog will have real life success, with less stress than a kennel environment.
Updates are sent home throughout each week so you can keep up with your pup's progress. Transitional private lessons, both virtual and in-person, are included after graduation.
Pick-up and drop off is included within 2 hours of downtown Houston for your convenience.

Family Dog Program
$2800
- 2 weeks - Basic on leash obedience at home and in pet friendly places - Perfect for the distractible family dog without many bad habits - Your dog will learn: Sit, Down, Place, Loose Leash Walking, Settle, No Jumping, Come, Polite Greetings, and Leave It
- 3 weeks - Basic off leash* obedience and mischief prevention - Prepares your dog for off leash adventures with you. You will finally be able to play ball in that unfenced field or go for a hike without worry. - A great option for the mildly mischievous dog who gets into the trash, rushes out the front door, or does parkour on your furniture - Your dog will learn: Heel, Sit, Down, Place, Loose Leash Walking, Settle, No Jumping, Leave it, Drop It, Polite Greetings, and Come
- 4 weeks - This is our elite program for advanced on and off leash* obedience, and urban adventures - Canine Good Citizen ribbon and certification - Best program to prepare your dog for busy patio dining, farmers markets, family reunions, and travel - Prepares your dog for off leash adventures with you. You will finally be able to play ball in that unfenced field or go for a hike without worry. - A great option for the mildly mischievous dog who gets into the trash, rushes out the front door, or does parkour on your furniture - Your dog will learn: Heel, Sit, Down, Place, Loose Leash Walking, Settle, No Jumping, Leave it, Drop It, Polite Greetings, and Come
* Full off leash training may not be available to all dogs, depending on their temperament and safety considerations. Safety is our number one priority. For dogs who cannot be off leash safely, long line training is substituted and/or all training is done in an enclosed area. Dogs are never to be let off leash near roads, or other hazards both during and after training.
