Bringing a new family member home should be nothing short of joyful fun- but it can be overwhelming without support. Whether this little guy or girl is your first or your tenth, raising a new puppy is always full of surprises and sharp teeth. If you need help with anything from potty training and manners to introducing the newcomer to your older dogs or teaching puppy how to play with your kids without so much biting- you’ve reached the right place!

Private Lessons

Private lessons are the perfect option for puppy parents with a budget and/or who want to be involved with every step of the training process.
The goal of a private lesson program is to teach YOU how to train your puppy so that you can continue working with them every day to make progress between each lesson. Every lesson will get progressively more advanced and include new skills for you and your puppy to learn. The skills you learn during your lessons will prepare you to continue training with your puppy and future puppies long after you’ve completed the program.

What if I need more than a few lessons?

A Board & Train or Hybrid Program might be just what you need to get ahead of the Puppy Blues and avoid having your favorite shoes repurposed into chew toys. Being busy with work or kiddos can make raising a puppy seem like an insurmountable challenge. Give your family(and yourself) the gift of sleeping through the night, because let’s be honest- nobody likes waking up for a potty walk every hour.

Puppy Board & Train

The unrivaled advantage of choosing Tug & Trust’s Board and Train Program is the Private In-Home Boarding policy. Puppies are lovingly welcomed into their trainer’s family and introduced to their highly trained, and fully vaccinated adult dogs- who serve as an example of good behavior to your learning puppy. We NEVER take training pups from more than one family at a time. This allows you the peace of mind that your puppy will not be exposed to any dangerous dogs and they will not have to adjust to a stressful, high capacity boarding environment. It also ensures they will get a plethora of individualized attention; you will get picture and video updates throughout each week to check in on them and see their progress.
